European Stock Futures Edge Higher

European stock markets are seen edging higher at the open, continuing the positive tone from the previous session, as investors digest more corporate earnings ahead of a Bank of England meeting.
At 2:05 AM ET (0705 GMT), the DAX futures contract in Germany traded 0.1% higher, CAC 40 futures in France climbed 0.1% and the FTSE 100 futures contract in the U.K. rose 0.1%.
The major European indices closed substantially higher Wednesday, with the DAX gaining 2.1%, the FTSE 100 1.7% and the CAC 40 1.4%, having their best day in nearly two months as resource stocks jumped and data showed Eurozone business activity picked up in April.
The pan-European Stoxx 50 climbed up by 1.99% to 4,002.8. In the cash markets, the DAX futures Germany was trading up 2.12% to 15,170.78. CAC 40 futures in France up by 1.40% to 6339.50 while the FTSE 100 futures in the U.K. up 0.13% at 7,047.4, at the time of writing.
