France stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Foods & Drugs,Water and General Financial sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 lost 1.39% to hit a new 1-month low, while the SBF 120 index fell 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Teleperformance SE , which rose 6.57% or 18.00 points to trade at 292.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Compagnie de Saint Gobain SA added 2.78% or 1.20 points to end at 44.29 and Compagnie Generale des Établissements Michelin SCA was up 1.31% or 1.55 points to 119.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ArcelorMittal SA, which fell 4.62% or 0.93 points to trade at 19.26 at the close. Engie SA declined 3.93% or 0.49 points to end at 12.11 and Veolia Environnement VE SA was down 3.90% or 0.91 points to 22.44.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Teleperformance SE which rose 6.57% to 292.10, Technip Energies BV which was up 4.06% to settle at 10.51 and Nexans SA which gained 3.11% to close at 64.60.
The worst performers were Casino Guichard Perrachon SA which was down 5.20% to 26.41 in late trade, Elior Group which lost 4.96% to settle at 6.80 and ArcelorMittal SA which was down 4.62% to 19.26 at the close.
The pan-European Stoxx 50 climbed down by 1.33% to 3,636.44. In the cash markets, the DAX futures Germany was trading down 0.67% to 13,786.29. CAC 40 futures in France climbed down by 1.40% to 5703.22 while the FTSE 100 futures in the U.K. fell by 0.11% to 6,483.43 ,at the time of writing.
