Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has launched a new program called MadeOnReels, which aims to help brands in India leverage the power of Reels Ads to achieve their marketing objectives. The program offers creative support and the opportunity to work with three creators on Reels campaigns for selected brands. The announcement follows encouraging results from brands such as Maruti Nexa, Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk, and Amazon Prime Video, which demonstrated that Reels Ads are effective in driving strong business outcomes.

In addition, a survey commissioned by Meta showed that Reels have the potential to increase brand following, messaging, and purchasing among Indian consumers. #The made-on Reels program is now open to briefs from brands across verticals.

Reports indicate that Intel, a major semiconductor company, may let go of as much as 20% of its employees in the client computing and data center divisions. This decision comes after the company announced last October its plans to reduce expenses by $3 billion this year. Last fall, the company had already laid off over 500 employees in California.

Industry analyst Dylan Patel tweeted that the budget cuts, which amount to 10%, could lead to layoffs of up to 20% in these divisions. Intel’s Washington County campuses currently employ over 22,000 individuals, as reported by Oregon Live. In January, news emerged that the company was making deeper job cuts affecting hundreds of employees in the Bay Area and nearby regions of the United States. The company has stated that it is committed to treating impacted employees with respect and dignity.
