Futures on major US indices were trading in positive territory at the time of writing. S&P 500 and Dow Jones futures inched up to 3149.05 and 28125 respectively at the time of writing.

The trade deal between the two most powerful economies is still surrounded by uncertainty.

Chinese official said their topmost priority in any kind of deal with us is to the removal of existing tariffs on Chinese goods.

On the data front, the U.S Manufacturing PMI for the November month is scheduled to be released on today at 9:45 AM ET. The index is expected to remain the same as in the previous month at 52.2.

European equities were trading lower on Monday morning. In the Cash Markets, the CAC 40 and the DAX 30 lost 0.26% and 0.03% respectively at the time of writing.

On the data front, U.K Manufacturing PMI for the November month is scheduled to be released today at 4:40 PM E.T. The index is expected to come in at 48.3.

Asia-Pacific stocks closed in positive territory on the first trading day of the week. The Nikkei 225 added 1.01% to finish its trading day at 23,529.50. The ASX 200 advanced 0.24% to close at 6,862.30.

On the data front, RBA Interest Rate Decision for the December month is scheduled to be released today at 22:30 ET. The interest is expected to come in at 0.75%

US Dollar Index futures edged up 0.10% to 98.30 at the time of writing.  The U.S dollar Index traded a little higher on Monday morning as improved global economic data and U.S-China trade deal talks remained in focus as it can provide directional clue to the market.

In the Commodity Markets, Gold and Silver fell to 1458.34 and 16.850 respectively at the time of writing. In the news related to commodity market, crude oil prices gained more than 1% because of improving manufacturing data that suggests increase in fuel demand and also due to the news that OPEC may increase output cuts at its meeting this week.

Gold prices are heading down due to the rise in dollar strength and positive economic data from China.

In the Cryptocurrency Markets, Bitcoin fell to $7259.2 while Ethereum rose to $148.51 respectively at the time of writing. In the news related to cryptocurrency, the U.S Attorney’s officials have arrested Virgil Griffith who work at the Ethereum Foundation for allegedly sharing his expertise in using cryptocurrency at a conference in North Korea.
