Futures on major US indices were trading in Negative territory at the time of writing. Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 futures fell to 6643 and 2654 respectively at the time of writing.

On the economic front, the ADP Nonfarm Employment Change for November is scheduled to be released today at 8:15 am ET. The Employment Change is expected to fall to 196K from 227K in the previous month. In addition, Inventory data from the EIA will be released today at 11 am ET. The EIA is expected to report a fall of 0.942 million barrels in US crude inventories for the week ended 30th Nov.

European equities were trading lower on Thursday morning. In the Cash Markets, DAX 30 and FTSE 100 fell more than 1.40% at the time of writing. European autos stocks were the worst performers shortly after the opening bell, down more than 2.6%.

On the data front, German Factory Orders data for the month of October released earlier today. Orders rose 0.3% MoM while markets expected a decline of 0.4% in Factory Orders.

Asia-Pacific markets closed in negative territory on Thursday. The Shanghai Composite declined 1.68% on Thursday. The Nikkei 225 fell 1.91%. The ASX 200 inched down 0.19% for the day.

On the data front, Australia’s Retail Sales (MoM) for the month of October released earlier today came in at 0.3%. Sales change was in line with market expectations.

US Dollar Index futures inched up 0.24% to 97.06 at the time of writing. The U.S. dollar and the yen gained on Thursday after the arrest in Canada of a top executive of Chinese tech giant Huawei prompted fears of a flare-up in U.S.-China trade tensions.

In the Commodity Markets, Gold and Silver inched down to 1235 and 14.290 respectively at the time of writing. In news related to commodity markets, OPEC and Non-OPEC members are set to meet later today in Austria, with a series of issues on the line. The 15-member group and its allied partners are widely expected to impose steep output restrictions from January, in order to prop up tumbling crude prices.

In the Cryptocurrency Markets, Ethereum fell to 91.35 and Bitcoin rose to 3787 at the time of writing. In news related to the Cryptocurrency Markets, cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase announced on Wednesday that clients using coinbase.com or the Android and iOS apps can buy, sell, send, receive or store cryptocurrency Zcash. The company further disclosed that residents in the U.K and the U.S. state of New York will not immediately have access to these services.
