Futures on major US indices were trading in negative territory at the time of writing. S&P 500 and Dow Jones futures inched down to 3283.80 and 28830 respectively at the time of writing.

In major news overnight, US market hits record highs as investors sentiments were boosted by developments made on US-China trade deal as well from upcoming fourth-quarter earnings reports.

On the economic front, US Core CPI (MoM) for the December month is scheduled to release today. The Core CPI is expected to remain flat at 0.2%.

European equities were trading lower on Thursday morning. In the Cash Markets, the CAC 40 and the DAX 30 added 0.35% and 0.17% respectively at the time of writing.

On the data front, the British Trade Balance (MoM) for November released earlier today came in at -5.26B. The Trade Balance change was below the market expectations of -11.70B.

Asia-Pacific stocks closed mostly higher on Thursday. The Nikkei 225 rose 0.73% to finish its trading day at 23,025.17. The Shanghai Composite lost 0.28% to close at 3,106.82. The ASX 200 advanced 0.85% to close at 6,962.20.

On the economic front, the Chinese Trade Balance (MoM) for December released earlier today came in at 46.79B. The Trade Balance change was below the consensus estimates of 48.0B.

US Dollar Index futures edged up 0.08% to 97.14 at the time of writing. Yen heads down after easing of US-Iran tensions.

In the Commodity Markets, Gold and Silver fell to 1545.55 and 17.80 respectively at the time of writing. In news related to commodity markets, Crude prices rose today as investors looking closely to US tensions with middle east and development on phase one trade deal. Gold prices lose its momentum on tuesday and stared falling amid hopes of US-China Phase One trade deal.

In the Cryptocurrency Markets, Bitcoin and Ethereum rose to 8528.2 and 150.4 respectively at the time of writing. In news related to the Cryptocurrency markets, Bitcoin have crossed 8200 level and was up by 5.08% . the upward rally was pushed by increase in bitcoin’s market cap to 66.64% of the total cryptocurrency market cap.
