TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF LEVERAGE
CAPITAL STREET FX

Applicability: All Trading Accounts

1. Leverage Assignment Structure

Leverage is automatically assigned based on the client’s total deposit. The stop-out level is calculated as a percentage of the higher of account equity or balance at any given time.

1.1 Standard Leverage and Stop-Out Structure (Without Bonus)

Example 1 – Low Deposit Tier:
  • Deposit: $300
  • Assigned Leverage: 1:10000
  • Stop-Out Level: 30%
  • Margin used: $100 | Equity: $200 | Balance: $300
  • Stop-out Calculation: 30% of higher of $300 or $200 = $90
  • Result: Since equity ($200) > $90, stop-out is NOT triggered.
Example 2 – High Deposit Tier:
  • Deposit: $5000
  • Assigned Leverage: 1:1000
  • Stop-Out Level: 10%
  • Margin used: $1000 | Equity: $800 | Balance: $5000
  • Stop-out Calculation: 10% of higher of $5000 or $800 = $500
  • Result: Since equity ($800) > $500, stop-out is NOT triggered.

Note: Leverage is assigned at the time of deposit. Custom leverage may be requested in writing.

2. Leverage Assignment with Bonus

Clients who accept trading bonuses are subject to an alternate leverage and stop-out structure. Stop-out remains based on the higher of equity or balance, excluding bonus credit.

2.1 Leverage and Stop-Out Structure with Bonus

Important: For all accounts with a bonus, if the leverage is up to 1:1000, the stop-out level will always remain at 10%, irrespective of the deposit amount.
Example 3 – Mid-Tier Bonus Use:
  • Deposit: $700 | Bonus: 300% ($2100)
  • Total trading credit: $2800 (only $700 considered for stop-out basis)
  • Assigned Leverage: 1:5000 | Stop-Out Level: 30%
  • Margin used: $500 | Equity: $600 | Balance: $700
  • Stop-out Calculation: 30% of higher of $700 or $600 = $210
  • Result: If equity drops below $210, stop-out is triggered.
3. Prohibited Trading Practices

The following are strictly prohibited when using leverage:

3.1 Scalping
  • Trades closed within 0–30 minutes
  • Price movement less than 20 pips
