Microsoft and Accenture Join Forces to Empower 13 Social Impact Startups in India.

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) received an “overweight” rating from an analyst at Piper Sandler, who maintained a price target of $400.00, an increase from the previous price target. Prior to this rating, the company had 44 buy ratings, 6 hold ratings, and 1 sell rating.

The stock closed at $331.21, showing an 8.45% increase in the last month and a 21.58% increase in the last 12 months. However, according to Investing Pro, Microsoft’s fair value is estimated at $329.56, suggesting a slight downside of 0.5%.

In collaboration with Accenture (NYSE: ACN), Microsoft announced the third cohort of the Project Amplify program, focused on supporting 13 Indian startups in areas such as clean tech, circularity, regenerative agriculture, education, and skilling. The program aims to help these startups by testing and validating their proofs-of-concept, providing design thinking sessions to reimagine the impact of their solutions, and offering access to the latest technologies and guidance from experts at Microsoft and Accenture.

Sanjay Podder, managing director, and Technology Sustainability Innovation lead at Accenture, expressed excitement about the collaboration and stated that they are applying their joint expertise to support social impact startups and scale their impact across the globe.

As part of the program, startups will have access to various Microsoft technologies, including up to $150,000 in Azure credits, M365 and D365, Visual Studio, GitHub Enterprise access, enterprise-grade Azure engineering support, networking opportunities with global social entrepreneurs, and a range of go-to-market resources.

Jean-Philippe Courtois, Executive Vice President and President of National Transformation Partnerships at Microsoft mentioned their commitment to supporting innovative entrepreneurs in India and driving systemic change through sustainable businesses. The collaboration with Accenture aligns with Microsoft’s Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact Initiative.
